The BEP 225K is stand alone snubbing units designed and custom built to perform live or dead well interventions.The 225k has become a more versatile unit in recent years due to greater rotary capabilities 6,000 ft/lbs and a 11″ thru bore often needed to handle larger tubing hangers and bottom hole assemblies, and to perform a variety of live intervention such as fishing job, running completions, milling out multiple plugs after fracing and complex live well applications.

Safety
Safety is a critical element of BEP’s operations. No job is undertaken unless it can be done safely. BEP has a solid, proven, multi-level safety program that includes written policies and procedures, safety supervision, and required training on the job and in the classroom. Full participation of all personnel is required in safety drills, meetings, rig inspections and reporting with follow-up by management. All equipment and processes are designed, constructed and operated with safety in mind. Since its inception, BEP and its affiliates have maintained an excellent safety record and are constantly improving upon their safety standards.
The Unit
The 225K Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU) is whole owned and managed by PT. Bintang Energi Pratama. It is a 225 K lbs capacity modular offshore and onshore HWU with 12 ft jack and 5,000 psi BOP stack, capable of performing a range of conventional workover services. These include but not limited to pulling and running completion strings, well killing and reverse circulating, fishing, milling, cementing, stimulation, sand control, well abandonment etc. The provision of 3-1/2” drill strings also enable the HWU to perform pumping and washing inside production casing and its liner.
The modular HWU is designed for fast rigging up and down with minimal time required, and also with minimum or no impact on existing production facilities. The initial mob/demob operations for all associated HWU equipment can be carried out by using supply vessel to small offshore platform.
Other Unit Own by BEP is HWU 150 K. It is a 150 K lbs capacity modular offshore and onshore HWU with 12 ft jack and 3,000 psi BOP stack, capable of performing a range of conventional workover services.
